Our postcard campaign was launched on Tuesday, 27th March in Cockermouth Main Street, where postcards were handed out illustrating the dangers of fluoride to teeth.
After Carolyn Flint (Minister with responsibilty) replied to our protests with the opinion that no one was concerned about this issue as she received no letters about it, we decided to make it as easy as possible for people to make their personal complaint. Using funding from supporters and West Lakes/North Cumbria Friends of the Earth we have had 5,000 postcards printed. With an image of fluoride damaged teeth on one side, they pose various questions, request that the Department of Health undertake effective research into the long term impact of artifcial fluoride upon the body and cease fluoridation.
We NEED as many as possible to be sent. Please contact Mary Lawley (017687 74026) or Dianne Standen (01900 813378) if you would like one of these postcards, or are willing to distribute a few to sympathetic friends and neighbours.
